Description
Construct a building with structural integrity using the Simpson joist hanger. To ensure a secure connection, it renders support to the underneath rafter and beams. Steel construction makes the galvanized steel joist hanger strong. It measures 2 9/16 in x 11 7/8 in.
- Install with 0.148 in x 3 in nails in the header and #8 x 1-1/4 in wood screws in the joist
- Galvanized (G90) for extra corrosion resistance
- Securing the carried I-joist is simple, requiring only one or two screws into the bottom flange through the seat of the hanger
- The optional triangle nail holes may be used for increased uplift
- These hangers cannot be modified but will accommodate a skew of up to 5°
