Description
Use Simpson joist hanger to reinforce the light loads of sold sawn lumber applications. Its steel; composition allows it to establish a secure connection between the timbers. The galvanized steel joist hanger has optional triangular nail holds for added uplift.
- These face-mount hangers cannot be modified but will accommodate a skew of up to 5-degrees
- Can be used with joists at slopes up to 1/2:12, with a 10% reduction in ultimate hanger strength
- Features optional triangle nail holes for increased uplift
- Joist size: 2-1/2-in x 14-in
- Made from 18-gauge steel
- Galvanized (G90) for extra corrosion resistance
- Install with 0.148-in x 3-in nails in the header and #8 x 1-1/4-in wood screws in the joist
