Description
The joist hanger from Simpson Strong-Tie is a 16-gauge galvanized steel member in the shape of a stirrup used to support the end of a joist in the assembly. The product is 3 5/8″ x 11 1/2″ in size.
- Can be installed after the beam is secured in place
- HGUS-series hangers are tested, load rated and code compliant
- Do not bend or remove tabs
- Nominal joist size: 4×12
- Made from 12-gauge steel
- Galvanized (G90) for extra corrosion resistance
- Install with 16d common nails
