This deck mounted skylight features easy “bracket-free” installation means that one-person can complete the installation, suitable for roof pitches between 15 to 85 degrees, using the included hardware. A template and installation hardware are included.
FX skylights come in a choice of tempered/tempered glazing for in reach skylights, and tempered/laminated for overhead applications.
- All Fakro skylight glass are LoE coated, dual-glazed, and filled with argon gas; laminated glass comes with a 10-year warranty on glass breakage due to hail
- Aluminum cladding with UV resistant polyester paint for long lasting performance
- Special perimeter gasket under the frame for increased insulation, the unit is low profile for optimum appearance on roof and an internal gasket drainage system protects frame and drywall from condensation
- Premium narrow grain pine interior wood frame, pressure treated, and factory lacquered up to 50% wider than competition
- Suitable for roof pitches between 15-85°; install with Fakro EL, EL-T, or EH flashing kit (sold separately) for full warranty coverage; EL-T provides additional insulation and energy efficiency
- Laminated glass reduces exterior noise, is energy efficient and provides added safety and protection from UV rays for out of reach applications
