Description
Cut and repair metal threads yourself with this Mibro metric tap, die and drill bit set which includes 8 taps, 8 die, 8 drill bits, an adjustable tap wrench and a die holder. For maximized reliability and usability, the cutting pieces of this tap and die set feature high strength alloy tool steel construction with a titanium coating, increasing their durability and rust resistance while also allowing them to cut through various metals including cast iron, aluminum, brass and carbon steel. The taps and dies are sized from 3 mm to 10 mm, ensuring high versatility. Also, the titanium-coated high-speed steel drill bits allow for easy drilling in new materials for fresh tapping or to bore out worn threads that cannot be repaired. Drill bits sizes include #40, 1/8″, #19, #20, 13/64″, 15/64″, 17/64″ and 11/32″.
